So many new ranks!

I don't know if it is just me but there seems to be huge increase in people becoming builders and going to become trusted builders and architects quite quickly because of hard work... just raising this. I don't really have a suggestion but maybe raising the point level for builder?

Yes, ive noticed that. Alot of people are becoming builder in basically 1 build and then trusted builder 20 minutes later its strange it took my a while.

Agreed. The current point levels are already a little weird in my opinion.

Bizarre indeed, builder should be relatively easy to achieve so as to reach large maps where one can expound upon their ideas.

After that it should get more difficult so as to ensure the trustablility of the person in question. But without a doubt, we need more dedicated American op+s, even if only temporarily.

you are right in saying that a majority of the guests will soon become builders and eventually go on and i agree that we should make them have more points in order to becoma a builder

Im glad im not the only one that noticed. mad people have become guest to trusted within hours of playing and yeah im not on alot or really build anything impressive but some guest that joined not too long ago is already master builder O.o like damn it took me a few months to get to architect it took them a week to get to master builder.

But anyways I think that you should tense up the ranking requirements abit

I'm in favor of every time someone asks for a promotion another week gets added to their wait. And builds should grab our attention to have a voucher. Vouchers should also be silent. No one needs to be harassed to give a voucher.

yea thats right! every1 is getting architect theese days!
we should be stricter and stop ranking every guy that builds a box of wood!
Even griefers can become trusted because it is too easy. but i think we need diciplin too! very many have been ranked up to architect and 40 mins after they want to be master builders. But op+ must also stop giving away items. If every1 co-operate we can make the server griefer-free! wouldnt that be sweet?

yes i think the new ranking system of vouches and money is stupid its to easy to rank the ranking system should be based on the trust you earn and the time you spend!

I do totaly agree with you lord ipix. arent we all tired of the sentence :
"can i rank up i have all the vouches and i own a city!" and the "city" is often a column of 4 houses! I think op+ ahould judge them after time spendt and quality of work

i mean why are people ranking so fast everyday i log on to see the chatbox say "can i rank i have all the req" or "can you vouch for me i only need 1 more" its annoying and its practically like their saying "i want op can u rank me" and close always said dont ask for ranks i just dont like this system.

Agreed. We should keep ranking based on time spend, trust and building quality instead of vouches, money and the other stuff. I'm also getting extremely annoyed by people who keep on asking 'hey cn i b ranked', and I'm certainly not the only one. It should simply take much longer to get ranked if people keep on asking for rank imo.

Glad to see most people agree with me. Sorry i haven't been on recently i have become addicted to Dragon Age! I will try to be on more frequently!

We could use time, builds, vouchers and things like that as a check. But there is no guarantee that having everything that's listed will give you that promotion. The annoyance factor should be considered. It would also be good to have a private forum for op+ for discussion of ranking and other matters.

You guys make some great points. As someone relatively new to the server though (I've been builder about a month), I have to say that I have seen a number of people who have played even less time then me get advanced to builder and beyond very quickly. It makes me feel that if I don't ask, it won't happen. My apologies - I have asked once or twice about getting ranked.

I have three houses, two of them in two different offical towns and I never ask for or buy anything from ops - I mine and build all my own stuff. I try to help everyone and have earned aobut 30K in coins. So it makes me wonder what I am doing wrong....

I will keep playing anyhow just because I am having a great time and enjoy the regulars on the server.

tarl if you ask a co owner or owner (sumone who can rank you) to look at your house im sure you'll get ranked there's a difference in asking "can you check my work" and "can i be ranked"
