Ops and greifers

Firstly, we need more ops online, I'm online as much as I can, but I can't do anything about te greifers, like dovalslayer except try to barricade them up and take screenies, the only help I got was from Madgreifer, slythunder and camocam12...

The ranks aren't sorted out yet. Everyone who was on Classic before will get the current rank they have at beta (not completely sure that it was like that though)

Process to stop griefers: (fully effective)
1. type /stop if they grief
2. type /mute if they spam chat
3. explain what griefing and spamming is and that there is to be no offensive or crude material in the game.
4. After you finish explaining, unmute them by typing /mute
5. If they continue to spam, you should be able to kick them by /kick
6. If they say something along the lines of "Can I have my building privileges back?", unstop them by typing /unstop
7. If they continue to grief, do not hesitate to type /kick

This is effective, as tested by myself. Sadly, the /undo function is 'broken' and does not work. As such, OP+s need to be attentive to guests.


Also, as of yesterday, I think it a good idea to no swear in game and to warn others not to. It is considered offensive by many and encourages spammers to do the same.
(Personally I don't care if you do or not just don't do it around someone that does)

Xman, I made this topic before I was a Op, because I hated seeing people get greifed. But now I'm Op, I happily stop them now, and ty for the complete guide to kicking, I did everything except explain to them and instead of kicking i set rank to greifer then kicked.

I do it in this way:

- Stop player
- Do a pget to make sure that it's a griefer if needed (when it's the guy's own building, unstop)
- Set rank to griefer
- Kick

Towering/random block placing: 2 mins stop, if they continue to do it: Kick
Chat related things (for example spamming): 2 mins mute, if they continue: Kick

By the way we indeed need more op+ on, especially during the afternoon (UTC). I understand that most people aren't at home or are doing something else but I haven't seen many OP+ at classic so far.

Bepi, now that Classic is up i will try and be on a lot more regularly!

Undoing another player is there, it's just called something different.

/undoplayer <name> <time in seconds>

I think 500,000 (Without the comma) is the maximum amount of time you can undo.

Oh, and also, no polite explanation to griefers is required. If they clearly grief, then a simple "GTFO" and a ban will do

Unless they're clearly new that is, e.g asking for help with the game, and dig random holes and build random blocks, but that are spaced out. It's easy to tell a real griefer from an accidental one.

If it's just a newbie, just /undoplayer them, and explain what to do.

Its ranked for higher than Ops.
