I think we should have a contest, there you must build cooler things than the other guys who's in.
And you don't get things from the +OP or something and you can't use your inventory that you got in your chests. Find all on new when the contest is. THAT WOULD BE COOL!

We have plenty of Admin+ to supervise an event like this, and i would be happy to substitute for a higher up in the event that they wish to participate.
As for when it should be held, weekends are the best and probably hold two contests to ensure the ability of all to participate (we do live in different timezones)

I'd say all OP+ should be the judges, to have it more spread out over the time zones, and to have a better chance to have at least 1 OP+ online. And obviously a 'contest town' so the builds aren't miles apart etc. And I agree with xman, 2 contests on a day (with 12 hour gap between them) seems to be the best way.

I have problem with this... it seems to me that it is usually arch+ on and usually 3 or four admins+ I think that you let anyone compete... and admin+ judges...

Stu does prove a good point. One judge per five contestants and work our way down the rank ladder? We simply don't have enough low leveled people to participate, most of our members are dedicated and therefore higher ranked.

That's true, but maybe more people will come to the SMP server when Plastic's server will be back up? Some advertising on there for the SMP server may do good.

It would also helP if we didn't have the server whitelisted but until I can find proper antigrief plugins I won't unwhitelist it
